Despite the pandemic, 2020 was the year of new business investments: GV Macero acquired a plant in Calvenzano, a road junction in the lower Bergamo area bordering the provinces of Milan, Cremona, and Lodi.
The Calvenzano branch, with its modern 9,000 sqm of floor space, can offer – in the neighboring areas – through its services, the experience that the GV Macero family acquired over its more than 60-year history. With a dedicated press, about 3000 tons/month of paper and cardboard are processed in Calvenzano.
While remaining faithful to our vocation for waste paper, the Company’s investments in this new location focused on the interception, valorization, and start of the recovery of plastic and other recyclable waste such as Tetrapak.
The sorting of plastic materials requires high technical training from the personnel in charge: GV Macero has invested in specific training to ensure all its customers enjoy the highest quality standards.
